One of a kind ! Pistache is one of the rarest small pony size Curly and it is for that reason that we are thinking of removing her from our sales list or to reserve her to a serious small pony Curly's breeder only. Gene pool of such nice small pony size Curly is very limited and Pistache is litteraly one of a kind.

Pistache is a Pirate's daughter and Cachou and Nymph were racing to see who will foal first and Nymph beat Cachou by 45 minutes ! We named Cachou's baby «Pistache» and she was the cutest Teddy Bear in town ! Irresistible, you can not stop to pet her... Pistache is friendly and curious, so very curly - even durinf Summer ! She was our first baby pony to be born here and we were not used to see such a small baby... until Pitchoune (see below, below Pirouette) birth. lol

Pistache is now wearing her winter curls - lot of curls ! - and she is growing into a very well built pony, with a sweet face, tender heart and mischievous sparkle in the eyes... but still small in height.

We are having great expectations for her and she can stay with us for ever if Life decides.

Pistache's full sibling. Pimbina is very different than her sister: she is a smooth coat, she is bay tobiano and she is already bigger and wider than Pistache. But she possesses the same lovely temperament and a very kissable soft nose!

Pimbina is a lovely little grinch. She loves to explore and discover, she is always happy to welcome visitors, and she possesses an independant mind. She likes to explore our garden and we have to watch the patio door to be sure she will stay outside the house !

Pimbina is a clown with a strong personality, but she matured a lot these past months and she behaves well during her training sessions. She will lightly trained under saddle next Summer and we want to train her under harnest as well.

This amazing pony mare was Selka's first one. We chose Pirate as sire, because we just love all his previous babies. We were waiting for a very flashy, very elegant foal, premium quality sport pony type and we hit the jackpot ! What a lovely filly !

Picola is a Smooth Coat Curly. Her hair is soft as silk (or like bunny fur) and she is hypo-allergenic. What is funny is she had a little brother born last Spring - full sibling - and that little guy is an extreme (cover of curls from nose to tail).

Elegant, curious and funny, Picola is a sweetie who loves to give hugs and hang with her humans. All our visitors just love her. She is beautiful, with a long, silky mane and tail. Very, very cute indeed.

Picola's body has changed a lot these last months. She grew a lot and she looks like a small sport type horse than a «shetlie» pony. You will be able to notice these transformation by yourself by looking at her pictures in her photos album (click on the blue button located under her pic)

Picola will be lightly trained under saddle next Summer. Until then, she will continue her good work on the ground. She is already a well mannered pony.

Pirouette est née le premier jour de l'été, 45 minutes avant sa petite soeur Pistache...

Pirouette est magnifique, avec un corps musclé et racé, monté sur des jambes interminables. Elle bouge avec tant de vivacité et d'élégance, que son nom s'est imposé de lui-même. Les semaines passant, son corps s'est rablé et Pirouette est maintenant un boule d'énergie et ... de curiosité !

Pirouette possède un heureux mélange des caractères de ses deux parents : vive et altière comme Pirate, douce et curieuse, sans peur, comme sa mère Nymph. Elle adore déjà les enfants - comme sa maman - et elle ne se lasse pas de jouer avec sa soeur et sa «grande» copine Chazaam. Et quand le chien de mes parents vient en visite, ils jouent sans cesse et avec un bonheur non-dissimulé !

Pirouette est ce qu'on appelle une «smooth» Curly, s'est à dire qu'elle ne possède pas de boucles, mais que son poil est doux comme du poil de lapin (on ne se lasse pas de la caresser) et elle est hypo-allergénique.

Notre minuscule Pitchoune est née en août 2008. À la naissance, elle pesait 15 kg pour 69 cm : un modèle réduit (voyez les photos sur son album) !

Pleine de vie et de charme, notre Pitchounette est un amour de bébé. Très curieuse, c'est déjà un «pot-de-colle» qui adore les caresses. Elle aime aussi beaucoup notre gros chien (bien plus lourd qu'elle !) et courir après les chats.

Souvent, Pitchoune et sa maman sont en liberté dans notre jardin (pratique pour tailler les bordures et entretenir le gazon), ce qui leur permet d'accueillir les visiteurs et de voler les pommes qui tombent de nos pommiers...

Pitchoune ressemble énormément à ses soeurs et on peut dire que Pirate laisse son empreinte sur chacun de ses bébés !

En grandissant, Pitchoune confirme qu'elle possède la même curiosité et la même intelligence que ses parents. Souvent en liberté autour de la maison, elle fait la joie des visiteurs.

Pirate is one of the very few small pony type registered Curly stallion in the word. We bought him from Ellen Bancroft of Bancroft Curlies & Miniatures Horses located in Washington State. His first son, *Pirate Little Buccaneer EB was bought by Lene Jensen in Norway as a pony stud so Pirate has now some grandkids that speak Norwegian !

Pirate is a tall (very tall!) horse in a tiny pony body. He thinks that he is - at least - as tall as Passion and it is very funny to see him challenging the others big guys through the fence. Pirate is also very sweet and very wiling to please. He is not the "horse in a pocket" type and for this aspect, he looks like Chimo a lot. But when he trusts you, he works hard to please you and he will leave you do all what you want with him.

With his flashy color, his curls, his blue eye and his wonderful movement, you can't miss him when you come to the Ranch. He is the one, with his 2 girls, who take care of the back garden mowing and he is always ready for a treat, even from strangers hands!

Pirates belongs very well with the other horses. He likes to play with his buddies, Taz, Mister or Chimo even with his pony mares (the mares let him think that he is the boss, they are really sweet!)

Cachou is a very cute pony mare with more of a horse shape than a pony one. She has very beautiful blonde highlight in her mane, one blue eye and fading dark legs. She is well trained under saddle and we use her also for driving. She is fast and elegant and we reserve her for the intermediate level rider because beginners could be afraid by her fast walk.

Cachou is not a Curly and she is not hypo-allergenic. But we expect that the babies that she will have by Pirate will be hypo-allergenic as well. Small Curly pony mares are not easy to find (it seems that there is less than 25 Curly ponies under 12hh known in the word...) so we had to find an alternative. Curly coated or not, Pirate loves his mares!

Chouiya is the archetype of the pony: quick learner, intelligent, sweet, mischievous, short on her legs with a huge and thick blonde mane. She is cute and the kids adore her!

We named her after the arabic word "chouiya" that means "a little bit" or "a very small amount", because she is our smallest one here, so she is a "very small amount of horse"!

She was a spoiled pony before we got her, but she has learned very fast how to be a well mannered pony, how to walk on a leech and how to carry a kid on her back. She is a very good partner for the young kids which are obviously beginners.
