Dagobert is a wonderful and sweet gelding. His has the same sire as our mares Pritcha and Funnyface (who is now in Germany). His dam is a 17,3 hh percheron and she gave him the size and bones, but Dagobert has inherited more of his sire's sport type conformation than his dam’s draft one and we think that he should be a good hunter/jumper prospect. He is currently 15,3 hh at 3 years old, so we are confident in the fact that he will reach 16 hh without a problem; probably one or two inches more.

Dagobert began light saddle training this Fall, but we are very careful because we don’t want to spoil this big guy by going too fast and not allowing his muscles, articulations and tendons to grow to their full capacity and to mature nicely. So we will try him over small jumps next Summer, when he will have turned 4 years of age.  Dagobert is willing to please you and he is a good student. We bought him in July 2007, so more pictures (especially Winter’s ones) will be added with time.

Mister is a very sweet guy who dreams to be a herd stallion again and he is very happy in the middle of the mares’ herd! The “real” stallions hate him for that, but Mister does not care… and that is probably what happens when you name a horse “Call Me Mr”!

You can see here the foals he had before being gelded...

On the other hand, Mister is a well trained gelding that we use essentially on trail and as a school horse. He is for the intermediate/good level rider, but he can also “pony ride” the beginners if necessary as long as it is in an arena. On trail, he would prefer to have a more experienced rider, not because he is difficult to handle, but because he likes to trot, canter and gallop! But he will go walking quietly if we ask him and he gets on well with other ridden horses, those who are strangers to him. We have taken him to unknown places with more than 20 horses unknown to him without any problem.

Mister is now daily trained also for jumper/hunter as he demonstrated that he loves to work and to do much more than just trail riding. This guy loves attention and he loves to show off, so time will tell if we made the right choice for him!

Zack belongs to Bruce and Marlene Tilson from Tall Trees Curlys located in Bonfield, Northern Ontario. Bruce and Marlene asked us to bring Zack to our place to give him the opportunity to work and not only to be a pasture ornament. Zack is for sale.

Zack is very sweet and gentle, very easy to handle, even by kids. And because he is a true Curly, he can be stubborn as well, you just need to be more stubborn than him and everything will go well!

On trails, he likes to trot and to play "monster in the wood". He is following orders, but he does not like to be alone (without other horses). He possesses basic western training and goes well under English saddle also, even if he does not know fancy tricks (dressage’s movements).
