Butterfly came first from Blue Northern Curlies, Alberta (Canada). When she arrived at our place, in 2003, she was wild and very afraid of humans. But, again, the wonderful temperament and curiosity of Curly horses took its place and she was often the first to welcome us after a while!

Butterfly is now living in France, with Aline and Jeroen (who is a vet... allergic to horses!) Butterfly is in foal from our stallion Nanza and the baby is planned for April 2007. Congratulations to Aline, Jeroen and their son, Killian!

Sumpty is from Hat Ranch (Al Marah) bloodlines, from Tucson, Arizona. Mrs T. (Hat Ranch owner's) did a long and professionnal selection breeding to produce horses whom possess the best part of two terrific breeds : Curly and Arab. She did so well than a lot of her horses are champions of endurance races and Competitive Trail Riding. We recognize the horses from this breeding by the prefix AM or Al Marah in their name.

Sumpty lost her left eye when she was a foal, but she doesn't seems handicapped at all. She has Arab's conformation, but with more bones. She is very curly and, of course, hypo-allergenic. Sweet and sensitive, she is full of attention for her handler.

Sumpty is Alya 's dam and she is in foal by Passion for a Spring 2007 baby.

Sumpty's full time job is to take care of her old friend, Fallon, an appaloosa mare. She lives with our friends Gilles and Veronique, not far from us.

Blue is a pretty mare, with a refined head and sweet eyes, on a stock horse conformation. She is a minimal Curly (she has curls in her ears, mane and fetlocks, some waves on her coat, but not so much, and she is hypo-allergenic). She is so comfortable to ride... a gift for bad back riders! On trail, she will go anywhere and she is afraid of nothing.

Blue lives now with Bibouk on the Cûte-Nord (very far in North side of Quebec, close to the sea), since July 2006. She is in foal by our Passion for a May 2007 baby.

Sir Zapaloo! Zapaloo was not even one week old but we already knew that he would be an outstanding baby. He is Passion's and Lulaj's half brother and he reminded us a lot of Pépétéo, the perfect colt that we sold to Germany, with mixed feelings, the year before (see below on this page).

This picture was taken in June 2006, the day that we delivered both Sora and Zapaloo to their new family. They live now in the Western Townships, at Isabelle and Chris' beautiful farm and it is Yves, Isabelle's father, that was not able to resist Zapaloo and bought him for his wife! Very curious and friendly, Lulaj is kind and not shy at all! She loves cuddling and her favorite game is to follow you all around her pasture, sticking her head on your back and, when you eventually stop, she puts her head on your shoulder, begging for a big hug.

Lulaj is Onni's best friend which is great because her new owner is Serge, Fiorella's husband (see below)! Congratulations Serge!!

Spectacular! This is the first term that came to our mind when we first met Onni.

Funny and Chimo's first baby, Onni is huge and tall (almost 15 HH on her first birthday). She is also very curious and... funny! Her name, Onni, means luck and happiness in Finnish. She is a wonderful mix of both her parents, with the power and elegance of her dam and her sire's refinement. This filly should be a future star!

We will see if this wonderful filly keeps all her promises: her movement is extended with a long suspension time, a floating gait, very, very elegant conformation and the sweetest temperament.

T'Chifa was the first foal of an 18 years old Appaloosa mare, Fallon. She is sired by our senior stallion Chimo. T'Chifa was born very curly and of a light chestnut color with some snowflakes on rump. She has shed her foal coat for a deep chocolate color and, since then, she keeps her snowflakes and she adds some new leopard white spots with each Spring shedding!

Sweet, elegant, well curly coated and hypo-allergenic, she was bought by Gilbert and his highly allergic to horses wife, Joelle, who bought Nymo also (see below).

Everybody falls in love with Kaloo! With her long eyelashes, she possesses the most langourous eyes... She probably thinks that she is a pet horse, or a puppy! But she is bigger and bigger, and she must learn that, no, she is not a baby any more and she must live her horse life... that she loves too, if it means she has to be trained, and brushed, and groomed, and showered, and work; as soon as it is with HER humans, that is perfect!

Very easy to train, we have not yet discovered anything that can scare Kaloo... She is really bomb proof! Kaloo is a beautiful mix between her dam and sire and she took the best of both.

Funny is very curly in winter and wavy in summer. Funny is our resident clown. Despite her size (15,2 HH), she manages to edge her way in everywhere. She takes great delight in getting out of her pen to join our senior stallion Chimo . We solved this problem by leaving her in the same pen as him... and she gave birth to a magnificient filly on April 2004 : Onni .

In March 2006, Funny gave birth to her second spectacular filly by Passion : Equinoxe and we are just in love with this incredible sweet beauty who is the perfect mix of both of parents... In May 2007, Funny gave birth to another outstanding baby by Chimo, a colt named Canada.

Baktalo means good luck in Gypsy language and it is also the name of a wonderful Gypsy music group, directed by Carmen Piculeata, that we like very much. So, it was perfect to name this so cute foal. Baktalo is born at 2 AM on March 3rd. It was a very, very cold night so he had to wear my polar jacket for a while and a wool blanket for his first nap (see the pictures on his album by clicking on the photos button).

While he was mischievous and rebelious the three first months of his life, Baktalo is now the sweetest little boy! He is so tender, always ready for hugs. Baktalo loves humans, exactly like both his parents and his previous sister and brother (Katmae and Nymo).

Like his parents, Baktalo is the archetype of the Curly being, he possesses all the foundation of the most wanting Curly traits: bomb proof attitude, round shaped and very hard hooves and bones, oriental slang eyes, puppy temperament and human oriented, curious, intelligent, calm, playful, very curly and, of course, hypo-allergenic!

Sassé was born the same night as Flo ( Fallon 's colt), at our friends place where they have lived together for 2 years now, since Gilles and Véronique have adopted our Sumpty as a pasture friend for their old Appaloosa mare. Sassé is a very handsome, refined and tall baby. He looks a lot like his sire, but with the Arab touch that comes from his dam. We are not sure if he has inherited his dam's grey gene, as it isn't obvious right now. He is playful, very curious and sweet, like his sire...

Baktalo means good luck in Gypsy language and it is also the name of a wonderful Gypsy music group, directed by Carmen Piculeata, that we like very much. So, it was perfect to name this very cute foal. Baktalo was born at 2 AM on March 3rd. It was a very, very cold night so he had to wear my polar jacket for a while and a wool blanket for his first nap (see the pictures on his album by clicking on the photos button).

While he was mischievous and rebellious for the first three months of his life, Baktalo is now the sweetest little boy! He is so tender, always ready for hugs. Baktalo loves humans, exactly like both his parents and his previous sister and brother (Katmae and Nymo).

Like his parents, Baktalo is the archetype of the Curly, he possesses the foundation of the most wanted Curly traits: bomb proof attitude, round shaped and very hard hooves and bones, oriental slang eyes, puppy temperament and human oriented, curious, intelligent, calm, playful, very curly and, of course, hypo-allergenic!

Zarah impressed us by how fast she got up early at birth time and how quick she found the milk bar open... Very curious, vocal and a fast learner, Zarah is also a very, very beautiful filly. Her temperament reminds us a lot of both her big sisters, Kaloo and Soukyna , but she will probably be taller than them.

Zarak has lived with her new family since October 2006 where she is spoiled with carrots treats and hugs!

Renegade is a full sibling of our beloved Nymph (same sire, same dam) and we always had a«crush» on this nice «roasted chestnut» gelding. When Bruce and Marlene asked us to bring him to our home to work with him and put him on our sales list, we were happy to welcome him.
